What is the "multi-finisher" offer?

The Marathon des Sables (MDS) Multi-Finisher Offer is an exclusive loyalty program designed to reward participants who demonstrate continued commitment by completing multiple MDS events. This initiative acknowledges the perseverance, dedication, and adventurous spirit of our repeat participants by offering progressive discounts on future registrations.

Overview

The Multi-Finisher Offer functions as a tiered membership benefits system. Each successful completion of an eligible MDS event — where the participant is officially registered and crosses the finish line — adds to the participant's loyalty status. The higher the number of events completed, the greater the discount applied to subsequent race registrations.

The MDS events eligible for multi-finisher status are the following :

• MDS 120

• MDS Trek

• MDS Raid

• MDS Legendary

• MDS Ultra

• MDS Handi

How It Works

Eligibility for the discount is determined automatically during the registration process. If a participant has a confirmed, paid registration and has officially finished at least one qualifying MDS event, their loyalty tier will be recognized and the corresponding discount will be applied directly to the total amount of their new registration.

Please note:

• Only completed events where the participant is officially classified as a “Finisher” are counted.

• Discounts are non-transferable and apply solely to individual registrations.

The discount scale operates as follows:

Important Exclusions

The Multi-Finisher Offer is only applicable to select MDS events. The following race formats are excluded from this loyalty discount program:

• MDS LEGENDARY

• MDS CRAZY LOOPS
