Using a pair of gaiters is essential during the race. We recommend that you hire a cobbler to sew the gaiters onto your shoes (beware of delays). If you don't have one yet, check out the WAA gaiters here.
In order to avoid blisters, we advise you to apply 1 month before departure:
- A lotion to tan, strengthen and harden the feet, type TANO, every morning.
- An anti-friction lotion, type NOK, every evening.
