What happens in the event of a sandstorm during the marathon?

Decisions are made based on the situation at the moment. The management may interrupt the race, modify the course, or implement specific safety measures depending on the intensity and duration of the storm.
If a sandstorm occurs during the race, participants must stop and wait for conditions to improve and visibility to be restored. Outside of the stages, as in the case of adverse weather conditions, the race management may adjust the schedule or route if necessary.
