In case of a payment failure (for example: insufficient funds, expired card, limit reached), the Marathon des Sables (MDS) will not make a second automatic attempt to charge.
In accordance with our billing policy, the organization considers each payment attempt as unique and does not automatically retry failed payments, in order to respect banking security and the preferences of participants.
Procedure in case of a declined payment
If a payment does not go through, you will be contacted directly by email by our customer service. This message will contain:
A notification of the payment failure
A secure payment link allowing you to pay the amount due securely
We encourage you to make this payment as soon as possible to avoid any interruption in your registration process.
