The distance of the MDS Trek is 120 km, spread over 4 stages.
The distances are adaptable and flexible (except for stage 3), allowing you to adjust your adventure according to your physical condition.

Stage 1: 14 or 24 km
Stage 2: 12 or 15 km
Stage 3 - day 1: 19 or 31 km
Stage 3 - day 2: 19 or 26 km
Stage 4: 13 or 24 km
The stages of the MDS Trek are to be completed by walking at your own pace, with no time barriers. In case of difficulty, if you are unable to finish a stage, you will be transported back to the camp and can start the following stages.
The terrain varies between loose sand and firm sand, depending on the course.
